La Gare du Jouet is currently looking for one or two sales representatives to expand its sales territory and target markets in Montreal and Laval.

Positions available: sales representative

Salary: to be discussed based on experience

Start date: immediately

Period of employment: permanent

Main duties:

• Actively seek and pursue (through prospecting and cold-calling) new customers in order to meet and exceed the sales targets.
• Interact with customers and prospects via telephone and e-mail; determine customers' needs and identify appropriate products to meet those needs.
• Generate new leads and aggressively follow up to generate new business.
• Coordinate with inside sales staff in order to ensure that customers benefit of outstanding service levels.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about the company's products and services.
• Maintain prospect and client database.
• Attend trade shows, exhibits, sales meetings, conferences, as required.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge of products, customers, sales techniques.
• Provide market intelligence to management and colleagues.

Essential skills and required knowledge:

• At least 3 years work experience in a similar position.
• Bilingualism (French & English) is essential; any additional language would be an asset.
• Experienced professional with an excellent client approach.
• Organized, enthusiastic, able to prioritize and deliver results.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to work hard.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• General knowledge of Internet for data entry purposes.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Additional requirements:

• Mobility - need your own vehicle.
• Travel within the islands of Montreal, Laval and their surrounding regions.
